7.3.2 how to catch up Guide

Recently the Alpha version of Battle for Azeroth has just turned to Beta. Meanwhile on the live realms some sublte changes such as a ilvl cap increase has occured. This will allow players to catch up and also get the extra +10 ilvl required to clear Mythic Antorus content easier, without hardcore wall bashing on bosses with to gear limitations. This should allow players to reach 970 easier and push their gear up to 985,

As you might be a returning hero to the game, or a leveled alt, it'll be quite the challenge to gear up and this is why I've gathered all the information here that should help you.

Quite important, here is content that will be gone in BfA

War, war never changes

As one conflict ends, another begins. Such is the way of things in The World of Warcraft.

We are victorious Hero! The Legion has crumbled apart. Argus, the demons source of immortality has been destroyed. The dark Titan's fate is now sealed in the Red Star that we'll now keep seeing in the Skies of Azeroth, a fiting prison for Sargeras and a reminder that even Titans can be defeated.

For those unaware, our curent warchief Sylvanas Windrunner has at least two lives left. Due a pact she made with the Valkyr she can be brought back from the ethernal void that the Lich King doomed all its creations to. This means unless she steps out, she's here to stay.
Few know her motives, and the fact that instead of finding peace in the Afterlife she found the Infinite Dark. When jumping off Icecrown Citadel to end her cursed existence, after Arthas was defeated she found herself floating in a dark void, where she knew only terror, cold, hopelessness, fear, and regret. The undead are bound to exist due to necromatic magic, that is linked with the Old Gods, as a side effect, all souls are bound to infinite darkness and tormet once they leave this world. Terrified of what she saw, she made a pact with Helya trying to acquire more Valkyrs and keep heself and the Forsaken here.

Something bad, really bad will happen with Teldrassil and it will lashback against our Horde. The Alliance, as gullible as always will fall trap to the old Gods ploy.

As Battle of Azeroth begins we'll have to face the full might of the Alliance, and survive, no matter the cost.

Do you have what I takes hero ? Will you be prepared ? We need brave souls to Answer the Call of Battle. We need to train in PvP. I invite you hero to become a Spartan in the Brotherhood of Steel. Lets fight and defend Azeroth once again. For the Horde!

G2 - As one chapter ends, another one begins

We're half way in the patch 7.3.5 and a new PvP season is about to begin.

A good Captain knows to steer his ship, steady as she goes, through dangerous waters, always steadily, always on course. A good captain knows he can rely on his team :) Thus, togheter they always reach their goals.

It's not been long since we first cleared Antorus on Normal, and In just two months we've cleared it on Heroic and started a natural Mythic progression. The story of Legion has ended, and an unsettling future lays ahead. Sargeras is now trapped, with Ilidan and the Titan Pantheon as his jailors. Azeroth is hurt, and in the ashes of our conflict dark whispers begins to rise, making their move.

Since the ancient times there were the Guardians, protectors of the realm and founders of communities, these guys were the ones that survived the countless perils of leadership without being tainted by maddening whispers of the Old Gods, nor falling prey to the Shas of Greed, Anger or Pride. I'm lucky to call myself such a Guardian, having endured much, and standing the trials of time, with my true friends we've managed to do impossible feats, in a casually proficient gaming community. We've brought many people togheter, from many nations of the world and helped them grow, and nourished them with knowledge and wisdom, kindness and forgiveness so that they'd become better people and better gamers. And doing so we've become better ourselves.

The young ones don't always do what they're told

It's not the first time, probably not the last. One of the many cycles of evolution, the young need to break free of imaginary shackles to prove themselves, as they don't see strength in unity, but in their own perseverence.

As the current Jedi Council leadership decided to go, most of the team was left with not much choice but to follow.  Perhaps the young leaders within The Brotherhood have fallen to their inner Pride, who knows their motives?  But they decided to betray their old friends and mentors to pursue the foolish dream of being Cutting Edge Mythic raiders and make a name for themselves. The goals of such a path they were already set on as content unwraps if you progress graduately, here they had proper help and support, but they failed to see it so. In their blindness they've formed a new guild named <Betrayal> and in the night, while using un-needed stealth and deceit, they vanished right before the final Legion PvP season. The only few heroes that honorably stayed behind were Mørkjøtt's warrior: Lunak, Qlex, Took, Dellina and the few Jedi and Padwans that were offline and remained clueless.

The following months might be challenging. The Brotherhoods G2 team under the watch of Muffgobler, Fanten, Mortuc, Lunak and Krester is no more. While the Brotherhood will heal, slowly.  The betrayers will be on their own, pushing hard to achieve their goal as fast as possible, something that I believe all the wise raiders can and will reach anyway. I've shared with them my advice as they stepped out from the Jedi Council and I'm hopeful they'll learn patience and wisdom from all of this, and who knows maybe they'll exceed everyone's expectation and do something that no one else will be able to do.

A bit sadnened I can only grant them the freedom they already had, as the gates of The Brotherhood have been open always, for generations to join, leave and return when ever they wish.
And so as tensions rise on the surface of Azeroth and one of the biggest factions wars in the history of Warcraft is being weaved into collision, the story of G2 ends, and a new chapter in Brotherhood's history begins.

"May we forever find peace and happiness in our futures to come. "  A.Guardian

Progressing through the Antorus Waste

Upon completing 2/13 Mythic progression on the Tomb of Sargeras tier 20, the Brotherhoods last remaining raid team G-2 continued its challenging adventures on Argus, in the Antoran wastes.

At the core of Argus lies Antorus, the Burning Throne. From this seat of power, Sargeras drives his burning crusade to ravage the cosmos. Within the Throne's nigh-impenetrable depths, primordial powers are forged into weapons of utter annihilation. Should these forces rise to serve their master, the final hour will fall upon all of creation.

As per usual we activated recruitment beacons and with the Team at hand we began our ascension, first through the normal and heroic modes and most recently on Mythic.

Details on the enemies can be found below:

So here are recordings of our progression:

Progressing through the Eternal Conflict

Each of us has his own chapter of their own story to tell. Here is the story of G2, the legendary Training Grounds of <The Brotherhood of Steel>. A place where some of the friendliest and nicest people  I've met banded togheter and began a new adventure along side a rag tag of raider wannabes. Togheter they've progressed through the perilous dangers of the Broken Shore, they've cleared the heroic Nighthold and stoped Kil'Jaeden in his tracks by clearing the Tomb of Sargeras ahead of the curve. But mostly, they're greatest achivement was breaching the mythic barrieer, surpassing everyone's expectations and becoming heroes of legend.

Well done G2 :] I'm honored to be one of your team members.

None of this could have been done without Mufflegobler, Syris, Fanten, Lunak, Angelitos, Decapitari and Delina :]
